Hi there! Looking for more information on who is the real person behind this site? I don’t blame you. The “About” link is always one of the first ones I click myself. I like to know who I’m dealing with, and apparently you’re the same.
These days, a lot of people put up review sites like this just to make a buck. They don’t care if the information is correct or complete. Their only goal is to get you to click on the ads or the affiliate links they put there.
Now, I’m not going to lie to you. I’m in business too, and if you click on any of the links on this website and decide to buy Site Build It, I’ll get a $75 commission. And of course, that will make me happy…
But you should know that I am on honest, ethical person and I would never recommend anything unless I truly believed in its value. I model myself after some of the few truly ethical marketers on the Web that I respect… people like Ian Traynor, Ken Evoy, Michele Brouse, Josh Spaulding, Ben Shaffer, and Jonathan Leger. Now, you may or may not have heard of any or all of them. Most of them aren’t what you’d call super gurus. But they are successful website business owners who are mostly quietly making their living on the Web. I pride myself on a similar approach to business.
First off, I don’t believe you should ever review a product/service that you don’t have personal experience with. How can you truly know the ins and outs, the pros and cons of same if you haven’t used it? I don’t know, it just seems logical to me to only review/recommend/dis products you really know. So, if I write about it here, you can count on the fact that I’ve used it and my information is 100% accurate, albeit tinged with my own personal perspective.
So, to begin, let me tell you I have SEVEN Site Build It websites. That’s right… 7! I’m willing to wager I have more SBI sites than most SBI users do. Most probably only have 1 or 2, with a few more having 3 or 4. I also have at least 10 other fairly healthy non-SBI websites, developed on various models and for various purposes. This is one of them. But I keep starting new SBI sites because it’s just such a great platform for building a profitable money making website.
If you read an SBI review, whether it’s favorable or not, if the writer hasn’t used SBI, then I wouldn’t count on it containing facts or the kind of details I can give you. This blog review site is comprehensive. I didn’t just slap up a 1-page review site filled with affiliate links. I’ve spent hours/days writing articles from all different angles, just to help you understand the FACTS about SBI.
Why would I do that? (Other than to get the affiliate income, that is.)
I’m doing it because there’s a lot of misinformation (and downright nastiness) out on the Web about Site Build It and it makes me darn mad! I am passionate about SBI and I want people to know the truth. SBI changed my life and it can change yours too.
Need proof? OK… I’m not going to put up screenshots of my income here. Anyone can manufacture fake screenshots. But I will tell you that currently I’m making between $1500 and $2400 every month… just on Google AdSense. I also make money on affiliate sales and the sales of a few of my own small products. I’m not rich by any means, but I am able to act as the sole breadwinner in my family, which is great since my partner has been out of work for the past 6 months. I don’t know what we would have done without my SBI sites’ income.
I expect my income to increase substantially by the end of 2009, as I’ve been steadily bringing all 7 of my sites up to full potential. Currently, only the resume site could be considered complete, and it is the one making most of the money right now too.
